Crimped wire mesh can be also known as the iron crimped mesh, stainless steel crimped mesh, and black iron crimped mesh according to different materials. It is made in a variety of materials through crimping mesh machines, a kind of universal wire product with square or rectangular openings. Our crimped wire mesh products are made of galvanized wire mesh and stainless steel wire mesh.

According to loading capacity and wire used, it can be separated into the heavy type and light type. Stainless steel crimped mesh is durable coarse screening material suitable for acid and alkaline environment mineral processing. SS Mesh Sieves and Sifting Sizers are used for screening coarse to small particles, to separate commercially valuable minerals from their crude ores. The particles go through sieves of different apertures for the separation of particles according to their size.

Weaving type

Plain weave.Pre-crimped.Flat top.Intermediate crimped. Lock crimped.

Embossed woven wire mesh is available in square openings and rectangular openings, with different wire diameters and applications.

The pre-embossed weave ensures that the opening area is accurate, resulting in a stable and smooth structure.

Embossed woven wire mesh has a variety of uses. Heavy-duty embossed wire cloth can be used as a vibrating screen in mining, coal, crusher, and other industries. Lightweight crimped woven wire cloth with finer wire diameters and smaller opening sizes can be used as protective fencing for baking nets, hog feed, equipment and stairs.

Application

Mainly used as screen mesh, it is widely used in many industries, such as mining screen, quarrying screen, the screen deck, screen wire for stone crusher, Classifying Trommel; Vibrating screen; Road construction equipment; The Asphaltum mix round equipment and the mine vibrating screens, chemical industry, pharmacy, machinery, protection, construction.

Pre-crimping process

Using a precision machine, the intermediate crimp wire is pre-crimped by a rotating mold. The pre-crimped wires ensure the spacing of the wires. When the wires are braided together, the construction ensures that the wires are firmly locked together at the point of intersection.

Lock crimped

Lock crimped is a modification of intermediate crimped. It allows the wires to be locked in their position by pressing on each side of the raised wires. This construction increases the stability of the crimped woven wire mesh.

Flat Top Crimp

Flat top crimp, also known as pressed crimp, is made from circular and shaped plain-woven wire. All of the mesh knuckles are underneath. The construction is very heavy and durable. The smooth surface is characteristic of the braiding method. This structure allows the material to move more freely across the screen. Widely used in vibrating screens.

Double crimped

Double crimp is also known as plain weave organization. Unlike intermediate crimps, both warp and weft wires are woven directly from straight wires. We can obtain a rigid structure by evenly crimping the warp and weft wires. The wires are crimped and bounced together to form a tight grid. This is mainly used for lighter wires to ensure tension in the light curtain.

Intermediate Curl

Intermediate curl can be divided into a single intermediate curl and double intermediate curl. Single intermediate crimp means that the weft is pre-curled and the warp is directly woven. Double intermediate curl means that both weft and warp are pre-curled and then woven together.
